Fully autonomous screening for diabetic retinopathy is coming to pharmacies and other locations through a strategic partnership between AEYE Health and Ford Medical, according to a press release from AEYE.
The AI-driven technology, called AEYE-DS, works with compatible retinal cameras to enable point-of-care diabetic retinopathy screening. The partnership will see Ford Medical distribute the system to pharmacies and non-acute centers in the U.S., according to the release.
