Man presents urgently with vision changes, fever

A 32-year-old man presented to our urgent eye clinic due to recent vision changes and fever of unknown origin.
The patient’s medical history was notable for acid reflux and ADHD, for which he used omeprazole and amphetamine-dextroamphetamine, respectively. His surgical history was notable for an appendectomy. He had no known allergies and no smoking history. There was no alcohol or drug abuse history. Family history was noncontributory. Environmental history will be discussed later.
