
COPENHAGEN, Denmark — Using a heads-up surgical system can relieve neck and back pain, according to a speaker at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meeting.
Supriya Sriganesh, MBBS, MS, said 70% to 90% of ophthalmologists report chronic neck and back pain.
“Traditional microscopes demand static and bent posture for long hours,” she said. “This can lead to cervical degeneration, chronic fatigue and lower productivity.”
