Older man presents with left eye redness, periorbital swelling

A 70-year-old man presented to Tufts emergency department with a 2-day history of left eye redness and periorbital swelling with associated symptoms of left-sided headache and photosensitivity.
The patient denied flashes, floaters, double vision, loss of vision or difficulty with eye movement. This was his first ophthalmology consultation for this complaint.
