The UK Vision Strategy has published a joint strategic needs assessment (JSNA) template for health and wellbeing boards. The template will help boards to understand the eye health needs of their local populations and support effective commissioning of services. The template covers the four main causes of sight loss, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, cataracts and diabetic retinopathy.
