Cycloplegia with atropine may increase hyperopic shift, ocular higher-order aberrations
A significant hyperopic shift and an increase in ocular higher-order aberrations may occur in children after cycloplegia with topical atropine, according to a study.The prospective noncomparative study included 23 eyes of 23 subjects with hyperopia. All subjects were aged 3 years to 12 years.
