Quantel Medical pattern-scanning laser granted 510(k) clearance
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted 510(k) clearance to Quantel Medical for its Vitra Multispot laser, according to a company news release.The device, used to treat diabetic eye diseases, is a 532-nm photocoagulator that combines pattern scanning and solid-state green laser technologies.
