Novartis reports 7% increase in quarterly net income
Novartis reported net sales of $14 billion in the first quarter, with net income of $2.42 billion, an increase of 7% over the same quarter last year, according to a news release.Alcon accounted for $2.57 billion in net sales, up 1% from $2.54 billion in the same quarter last year, the release said.
