Quarterly net income more than doubles for STAAR Surgical
STAAR Surgical reported $471,000 in net income for the first quarter, up 103% from $232,000 reported in the same quarter of 2012, according to a company news release.Net sales totaled $18 million, up 16% from $15.5 million a year ago, and set a record for STAAR.
