PARIS — Sterile, single-dose cefuroxime 50 mg powder for solution for injection is safe and well-tolerated in complicated cataract cases and might prove to be indicated for other anterior segment penetrating surgeries, according to a study.At the meeting of the French Society of Ophthalmology, Loïc Bazin, MD, said that Aprokam (Laboratoires Théa) is "easy to preserve and to use, saves time and avoids potential batch contamination and dilution errors."
