SD-OCT most sensitive, specific in detection of reticular pseudodrusen in AMD

Spectral domain optical coherence tomography showed the greatest sensitivity and specificity in identifying reticular pseudodrusen in age-related macular degeneration, according to a study.The study included 220 eyes of 114 patients with AMD. All patients underwent imaging with blue channel image of color fundus photography, infrared reflectance, fundus autofluorescence, near-infrared fundus autofluorescence, confocal blue reflectance, indocyanine green angiography and SD-OCT.
