Diurnal IOP fluctuations controlled by trabeculectomy, sinusotomy

Combined trabeculectomy and sinusotomy dampened diurnal IOP fluctuations in eyes with primary open-angle glaucoma, according to a study.The study included 14 eyes of eight patients with open-angle glaucoma who had large diurnal IOP fluctuations but low IOP during regular office hours. All patients underwent combined trabeculectomy and sinusotomy.
