Computerized distance visual acuity, stereoacuity test has good reliability, validity

An interactive video game that uses automated computerized distance visual acuity and stereoacuity testing has good reliability and validity compared with standard tests, according to a study. The retrospective, observational case series included 102 children between the ages of 3 years and 7 years. Distance visual acuity and stereoacuity were measured with the computerized test, and these were compared with measurements obtained with the Snellen visual acuity chart and Distance Randot Stereotest.
