Precursors of type 3 neovascularization indicate future development of wet AMD

Identification of early neovascularization predicted the development of lesions related to wet age-related macular degeneration, according to a study.The prospective study included 37 eyes of 37 patients with a mean age of 78.5 years. All patients had unilateral type 3 neovascularization caused by AMD at baseline.
