Mazzo named executive chairman of Neurotech
Neurotech Pharmaceuticals has tapped James Mazzo, former CEO of Abbott Medical Optics, as executive chairman to help advance the biotechnology company’s therapies for chronic retinal disease toward market availability, according to a company news release.Last month, Mazzo was also named as operating partner for Versant Ventures, as well as chairman and CEO of AcuFocus, a company within the Versant portfolio.
