Microincision vitrectomy with ILM peeling yields good results for myopic foveoschisis

Microincision vitrectomy surgery with internal limiting membrane peeling showed good visual and anatomical results for myopic foveoschisis in severely myopic eyes, according to a study.The retrospective, interventional case study included 33 eyes of 29 patients with myopic foveoschisis who underwent three-port pars plana vitrectomy. Mean patient age was 63.2 years. Minimum follow-up was 6 months.
