Axial Length in Eyes with Macular Hole

We read the recent article entitled “Choroidal Thickness in Both Eyes of Patients with Unilateral Idiopathic Macular Hole” by Zeng et al, and would like to offer our comments. The authors, in this cross-sectional study, demonstrated that choroid thickness in eyes with idiopathic macular hole (IMH) was significantly thinner in the area of the macular hole, as well as in the anatomic macular area compared with control eyes, and even compared with the unaffected contralateral eyes.
