Standard full-thickness macular hole closure achieved in eyes with choroideremia

Full-thickness macular holes were closed successfully in patients with choroideremia, according to a study.Investigators retrospectively evaluated 30 patients with advanced choroideremia. Full-thickness macular holes (FTMH) were identified in three patients who underwent 23-gauge pars plana vitrectomy with inner limiting membrane peeling and gas tamponade.
