Patients, surgeons satisfied with multifocal lens outcomes
AMSTERDAM — Patient satisfaction is high and 81% of surgeons said their experience with a one-piece multifocal IOL was at least “somewhat better” than with other multifocal lenses they had tried, according to a presenter here.In an open label, prospective, observational study, Daniel H. Chang, MD, and colleagues accumulated data in a registry to gauge patient outcomes and satisfaction, as well as surgeons’ early experience with the Technis ZMB00 one-piece multifocal IOL (Abbott Medical Optics).
