Specific morphologic changes detected with spectral-domain optical coherence tomography were associated with progression and severity of geographic atrophy in eyes with age-related macular degeneration, according to a study.Changes identified on SD-OCT were linked to accelerated enlargement of atrophic lesions, larger lesion size and presence of multifocal lesions.
