Peripapillary Choroidal Cavitation – Corrected Proof

We read with interest the article of Yeh et al concerning the retrospective evaluation of patients with peripapillary choroidal cavitation (PCC) by optical coherence tomography (OCT; Stratus 3000). The authors pointed out that 93.5% of cases of PCC were found in myopic eyes. Neither the clinical data nor the morphologic findings in OCT were discussed with regard to environmental causes or the pathogenesis of PCC.
