Eyes with prior vitrectomy at risk for lens-iris diaphragm retropulsion syndrome

Eyes with prior vitrectomy had a high rate of lens-iris diaphragm retropulsion syndrome during phacoemulsification, according to a study. The prospective, interventional case series comprised 75 eyes of 75 patients who underwent phacoemulsification after previous vitrectomy. Mean patient age was 65 years.
