BrightFocus announces over $8.7 million in research grants
BrightFocus Foundation has announced it will be offering over $8.7 million in research grants to funding cures of the mind and sight, according to a press release. The $8.7 million includes $3.5 million dedicated to research projects on macular degeneration or glaucoma, spanning topics of cellular therapies, genetic research and testing of new treatments, the release said.
