Sony launches surgical video recording system
Sony has launched a new system designed to capture and record full high-definition surgical video at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery annual meeting, according to a company news release. Surgeons will be able to pair the Sony MCC-500MD medical video camera and, pending 510(k) clearance, the HVO-550MD medical recorder with a DVD drive, according to the release.
