Zeiss’s Surgical Ophthalmology unit grows fastest in first quarter
Carl Zeiss Meditec’s Surgical Ophthalmology unit led the company’s three strategic business units in first quarter growth rate, according to a company press release.Overall, the company increased its revenue 13.6% to €241.1 million, with the Surgical Ophthalmology strategic business unit gaining a 22.4% increase to €81.6 million, up from €66.7 million in the same quarter last year.
