VIDEO: Technological advances in imaging of fundus and macula

PARIS — At the meeting of the French Society of Ophthalmology, Gabriel Coscas, MD, talks about the technological advances that allow imaging of the fundus and macula. Fifty years ago, ophthalmologists relied on hand drawings of the fundus. Today, OCT angiography allows direct observation of choroidal neovascularization without the use of dyes and can be used to personalize treatment for many macular pathologies.
