Faulkner, MD, discusses two aspects of refractive cataract surgery: obtaining IOL power calculations, based on the results of a U.S. study comparing the performance of toric IOL implantation using intraoperative aberrometry vs. preoperative calculation, and how to enhance suboptimal results of premium IOL implantation with a combination of LASIK, PRK and a wavefront-optimized platform.
