VIDEO: SLT after prior incisional glaucoma surgery safely lowers IOP
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. — At the Kiawah Eye 2015 meeting, Leah Kammerdiener, MD, an ophthalmology resident at the Storm Eye Institute, discusses a presentation she gave on selective laser trabeculoplasty in eyes that had undergone prior incisional glaucoma surgery. The retrospective review found that SLT effectively lowered IOP in 58% of patients with one or more treatments, eliminating the need for a second incisional surgery.
