Actavis now Allergan, creates one of the world’s top 10 pharma companies
Actavis has adopted Allergan plc as its new global name and will trade under a new stock symbol, AGN, which was announced at the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.The name change was approved by Actavis shareholders on June 5, according to the press release. Actavis acquired Allergan in March.
