Ophthalmic community mourns loss of innovator Lee T. Nordan, MD
Lee T. Nordan, M D, a widely acclaimed pioneer in corneal transplantation and refractive surgery, died on Dec. 21, 2015, at the age of 69 after a battle with glioblastoma.An early advocate of refractive surgery, Nordan was instrumental in bringing keratomileusis to the U.S. Keratomileusis later evolved into LASIK.
