ASCRS launches Hill-RBF calculator for IOL power calculation in cataract surgery
The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery has launched the Hill-RBF calculator, a device for calculating IOL power in cataract surgery, according to a press release from the organization. The calculator features radial basis function IOL power selection that “performs best where it has the most data. By this method, short, normal and long eyes are simply viewed as a pattern,” the release said.
