Ophthotech reports $29.9 million net loss in second quarter
Ophthotech reported a net loss of $29.9 million in the second quarter, or $0.85 per diluted share, compared with a net loss of $37.1 million, or $1.08 per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2015, according to a press release.Quarterly collaboration revenue totaled $28.2 million, up from $1.6 million in the second quarter of 2015. The increase was mainly attributed to a $30 million phase 3 trial enrollment-based milestone the company achieved in June.
