Bausch + Lomb introduced the Orbscan 3, a third-generation anterior segment analyzer that allows surgeons to examine anterior and posterior astigmatism and optical pachymetry, according to a company press release.The topographer will allow surgeons to choose and identify candidates for refractive procedures as it provides data on corneal biomechanics and stability, and assesses the size, shape and extent of surface power abnormalities, the release said.
