Alimera reports consolidated net revenue increase in 2016
Alimera Sciences reported $10.7 million in consolidated net revenue in the fourth quarter of 2016 and $34.3 million for the full year compared with $5.8 million and $22.4 million in 2015’s fourth quarter and full year, respectively.The increases were attributed to an increase in demand for Iluvien (fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant 0.19 mg) to treat diabetic macular edema, according to an Alimera press release.
