John Snisarenko named Shire’s group vice president, head of ophthalmics
Shire has named John Snisarenko as its new group vice president and head of ophthalmics in the Unites States, according to company correspondence. Snisarenko, who most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for Genentech’s rheumatology franchise, has 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. He has also held positions at Novartis Pharma Canada, Ciba Vision, Novadaq Technologies, Alcon Canada and Allergan Canada.
