VIDEO: Registry shows early detection of wet AMD helps patients maintain better vision

WASHINGTON ― At the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting, Allen Ho, MD, of Wills Eye Hospital, discusses data gleaned from the AAO’s IRIS Registry showing that the earlier wet age-related macular degeneration is detected and treated with anti-VEGF agents, the better the patient’s vision will be over time.
