Eyevance Pharmaceuticals announced it has acquired the FreshKote line of lubricant eye drops from Focus Laboratories, according to a press release.
The acquisition includes all of the FreshKote formulations, including the preservative-free multidose bottle and singe-unit vials.
The preservative-free formula is designed to support the integrity of all three layers of the eye’s tear film and combats evaporation on the ocular surface with a polymer blend that mimics the tear film’s lipid layer, the release said.
