CHICAGO — Ellex Medical Lasers is previewing its next-generation ultrasound solution Eye Prime at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting here, according to a press release.
The Eye Prime system includes six-ring phased array annular technology, which emits alternating ultrasound waves from six concentric transducers in a single probe that can be focused through a wide range of depths, the release said.
Paired with Ellex’s Reflex Technology, the system provides both visualization and treatment of eye floaters.
Eye Prime is not yet approved for sale in the United States as FDA
