CHICAGO — A study found fewer patients needed additional IV medication in the operating room if they received MKO Melt (Imprimis) before cataract surgery in comparison to Valium (diazepam) or a Valium-tramadol-ondansetron combination, Maggie Jeffries, MD, said at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting here.
