WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — At Retina 2019, Allen Ho, MD, discusses two new treatments for dry AMD in development that use human embryonic retinal pigment epithelial stem cells. The new treatments require new surgical hardware and techniques to place the treatments in the areas of geographic atrophy.
