The Tecnis Eyhance IOL, a monofocal lens designed to improve both intermediate and far distance vision, is now available in Europe, Johnson & Johnson Vision announced in a press release.
The IOL allows cataract surgery patients to achieve improved intermediate vision by extending the depth of focus. Patients experience improved intermediate vision compared with a standard aspheric monofocal IOL, as well as 20/20 distance vision.
In addition, the IOL can reduce the incidence of glare, halo or starburst compared with the Tecnis one-piece IOL, the release said. Patients report that (Read more...)
