Federal court orders Guardian Pharmacy to cease sterile compounding operations

A federal judge ordered JMA Partners Inc., which is doing business as Guardian Pharmacy Services, to stop producing drug products intended to be sterile, the FDA announced in a press release.
A consent decree of permanent injunction was issued against the company by U.S. Chief District Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn, which stated the company and its owner, Jack R. Munn, were to cease production until complying with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
