Omidria receives permanent J-code

The CMS has assigned a permanent J-code for Omidria, Omeros announced in a press release.
Omidria (phenylephrine 1% and ketorolac 0.3% intraocular solution) is used during cataract surgery to prevent miosis and reduce postoperative pain.
The reimbursement code J1097 will become effective Oct. 1.
