One health system’s experience relevant to looming price transparency rule

The Trump administration’s ongoing effort to lower health care costs and increase transparency resumes later this summer when HHS is expected to propose a rule that explains how hospitals would be required to disclose the amount patients would pay for services before they receive care.
Data indicate the toll medical costs are taking on Americans.
