VIDEO: Pneumatic retinopexy yields better visual outcomes than vitrectomy for retinal detachment

TREVISO, Italy — A prospective, randomized study carried out at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto showed superior results for pneumatic retinopexy compared with pars plana vitrectomy in patients with retinal detachment.
