Jim Mazzo to retire from Zeiss

Jim Mazzo will retire as president of the ophthalmic devices strategic business unit for Zeiss, effective May 1, according to a press release.
Mazzo has a long history in the ophthalmology field, with more than 40 years in the industry. He will continue as an advisor at Zeiss through at least the end of September, as well as continue in the ophthalmic industry in a number of roles, he told Healio/OSN.
