Bausch Health is donating medications and medical products, as well as increasing production of drugs that could be useful in treating COVID-19, according to a press release.
With thousands dying in Italy from the novel coronavirus, the Bausch Foundation has donated Virazole (ribavirin for inhalation solution, USP) for nebulization in compassionate use in Italian hospitals. In addition, Bausch + Lomb has donated Biotrue ONEday daily disposable contact lenses to health care providers in Wuhan, China, who have reported fogging eyeglasses while wearing protective gear, the release said.
