MDbackline, an automated patient communication and education application, has launched a web-based service that remotely collects patient history and demographics before an examination.
This service “interfaces with existing practice management software and EHR to contact incoming patients by SMS and email and collect their medical history as well as demographics, insurance, and facilitate electronic ‘signature’ on forms for financial policies, HIPPA notices and other documents,” a press release from MDbackline said.
