The American Academy of Ophthalmology 2020 in-person meeting in Las Vegas has been canceled in favor of a virtual conference.
Citing epidemiological projections, government regulations and public health mandates, the AAO decided to move to a virtual format. The meeting is expected to be held on or near the original dates of Nov. 13 to 16.
AAO will reach out to registrants by Aug. 12 with information regarding refunds, applying payments to the virtual meeting or transferring registration to the 2021 meeting in New Orleans.
