Bausch + Lomb introduces scleral fixation forceps

Bausch + Lomb has introduced scleral fixation forceps to aid in the placement of scleral-sutured posterior chamber IOLs, according to a press release.
The Pinnacle 360 25-gauge scleral fixation forceps, developed with the help of Daniel Adelberg, MD, feature 360° actuation and glare-free tips with micro-serrated edges that promote traction. The instrument may have other applications in anterior segment surgeries, in addition to helping with scleral-sutured posterior chamber IOL placement in aphakic eyes without capsular support.
